These terms cover your use of TestFromNotes. By starting a trial or subscription you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the children you add to your family's site.

Your account

You must be an adult to create an account. You're responsible for the logins you create for your kids and for keeping passwords private. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your site.

Trial, billing and cancelling

• New accounts start with a free trial. A card is needed to start; it's charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
• Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can change plans or cancel any time from Manage, then Billing, on your site.
• If you cancel, your site stays open until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give refunds for partial periods.
• Extra AI you buy is a one-time charge and carries over until it's used; it isn't refundable.
• We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan.

Included AI

Each plan includes a monthly amount of AI use for making lessons, checking answers and the tutor. When it's used up, AI features pause until the next month unless you add more; everything else keeps working. AI can make mistakes, so check anything important against the teacher's materials.

Your content

The notes and files you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run your family's site, including sending them to AI services as described in our privacy policy. Only upload materials you have the right to use for your family's personal study.

Codes and referral rewards

• Promo codes and referral codes are entered at sign-up, one per account, and can't be swapped for cash.
• Your family's referral code is your site name. When a new family signs up with it, makes its first real payment, and still has an active plan after the waiting period shown on your Manage page, your family earns the reward shown there.
• Rewards go to the parent who holds the account, never to a child, either as a credit on your bill or as a payment we send to the details you give us. Using your own code, making extra accounts, or paid ads that use our name don't count.
• When you share your code, say that your family gets a reward if they join (the share message already does).
• We may change or end the program at any time; rewards already earned are still paid. You're responsible for any taxes on rewards.

Fair use

TestFromNotes is for personal family study. Don't use it to break the law, to share accounts outside your family, to resell the service, or to try to get into other families' sites or our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

We work to keep TestFromNotes available and accurate, but it's provided as is, without guarantees of any particular result, including grades. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
